2025 Maryland Business Conference
The Governor's Commission on African Affairs and MACC convene leaders to advance diaspora-owned businesses across Maryland.
Hosted by the Governor's Commission on African Affairs in partnership with the Maryland African Chamber of Commerce, the 2025 Maryland Business Conference brought together business leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and members of the African diaspora.
The day was built around a single goal: exploring opportunities and advancing diaspora-owned businesses across Maryland. Attendees connected across sectors, shared the challenges facing their firms, and surfaced the practical support that helps African and diaspora-owned businesses grow.
The conference reinforced the Chamber's role as a bridge between Maryland's African business community and the institutions — public and private — that can help it thrive.
